The official sports calendar website for Oregon City High School has been moved to ThreeRiversLeague.org. From this site you will click on Oregon City High School and will then proceed to select the sport you wish to view schedules for. Be sure to check back often for scheduling changes as this is the official site maintained by OCHS’s Athletic Director.

Another new first for the Oregon City Gridiron Club…announcing our smartphone app that will bring you up-to-date information on the Pioneer football program and players on your smartphone. Point your browser to www.pioneerfootball.mobi and be in touch wherever you go.

Parents, relatives and friends will also be able to purchase a congratulatory player ad for $25 and have the message uploaded to the site under their player’s profile. How cool is that! Complete the information on the OC Gridiron Football Family Donation form and select ‘Silver Level Sponsor’. (A separate form for recording the actual message will be posted shortly). Return the forms and your payment to the address listed, and you’ll be set to go.

Within the app you will also find coupon offers, Coach Strasser’s weekly program, player roster and profiles, and much more. Be sure to check it out and use it often.

This is one opportunity you don’t want to miss. Pioneer football is going to be big this year. New coaching staff. A great line-up of players. The stands will be full. And so will the parking lot. Where will you be parking?

If you act now and purchase a parking pass from the OC Gridiron Club, then your spot will be reserved, upfront by the ticket booth in the upper lot, just waiting for you to arrive before the game. Flash your reserved parking pass, and you won’t be walking a mile just to get to the game.

Ordering is easy. Print out the flyer from the OC Gridiron site and bring it and your payment with you to the mandatory football player parent meeting this Thursday, September 1, at the Pioneer Stadium at 6 p.m. Reserved parking spot packages start at $125.

You’ll be glad you did.

The Oregon City Gridiron Club will be selling reversible red and black scarves imprinted with Oregon City High School, the OC logo, and Pioneer Pete to help fund our players’ end of the year awards banquet and their away-game in Redmond, Oregon in September. Please take a look at the flyer and think about ordering a scarf or two to show your school spirit. One scarf is $27.50 or two for $50. You’ll be glad you did when the weather begins to turn on us.

Go Pios!

Workouts for the next two weeks (6/27-6/30 and 7/4-7/7) have been posted on the front page of the Gridiron site. You can also access them here and here. Since players will not be in the weight room until July 11th, and it has almost been a month since the last lifting, the players at camp were made aware that Coach Swanson has posted these workouts for each of the next two weeks so they could get some work done.

Also, remember the passing tournament at Silverton High School on July 9th for which we have already paid (which starts at 9am) and that team lifting will begin on July 11th at 8 am and run weekly Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for the month of July. For additional information about the passing tournament, players may contact Coach Swanson, Coach Strasser or Coach Stull via e-mail. Their e-mails are available on the high school website under the “contacts” tab.

You might want to check out the brochure posted here on the OC Gridiron Football website for PSU’s Viking Football Camp to be held June 27 and June 28. A great opportunity for both offense and defensive players alike. Check it out!
